About the beachside
Across the Indian River Lagoon from Melbourne, the beachside towns of Indialantic, Melbourne Beach, Satellite Beach and Indian Harbour Beach line the Atlantic.
The Melbourne, Eau Gallie and Pineda causeways tie them to the mainland. To the south, the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge protects one of the most important sea turtle nesting beaches in the country.
Homes and tile on the beachside
Salt air, sand and humidity are hard on floors, which is why tile and porcelain make so much sense here, from entries and living areas to showers.
